Vice President and Rajya Sabha Chairman M. Venkaiah Naidu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla will jointly launch Parliament TV at 6 pm today.
Parliament TV is starting to broadcast on International Day of Democracy.
The decision to merge Lok Sabha TV and Rajya Sabha TV was taken in February this year and the CEO of Parliament TV was appointed in March 2021.
