President Ram Nath Kovind has accepted the resignation of Anil Baijal and appointed Vinay Kumar Saxena as the new Lieutenant Governor of Delhi. Recently, citing personal reasons, Anil Baijal had resigned from the post of Lieutenant Governor of Delhi.
According to the notification issued by Rashtrapati Bhavan, Vinay Kumar Saxena will be the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi from the day he assumes office. Vinay Kumar Saxena is currently the chairman of Khadi.
Vinay Kumar is said to have worked in the corporate as well as NGO sector. He joined JK Group in Rajasthan in 1984 and worked here for 11 years.
