Rebel Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde on Wednesday claimed that he has the support of 50 MLAs and will pass “any test” of numerical strength in the Assembly. According to Shinde, the MLAs supporting him include rebel Shiv Sena members and independent MLAs.
Shinde, who came here to visit the Kamakhya temple for the second time in a day, insisted, “We have 50 MLAs, which is more than two-thirds of the party’s MLAs. We are not worried about the majority test in the House and will pass any test.
“No one needs to go beyond the constitution and rules of the country. This is for the progress of Maharashtra and Hindutva. The majority is with us. After the floor test in the House tomorrow, we will sit and decide the future course of action.
