Amit Shah president of Bharatiya Janata Party on Saturday was speaking at a function to release,” Narendra se Narendra”, a book written by BJP leader Kailash Narayan Sarang said, “India was on the way to become Vishwa Guru, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership”.
Shah said, ‘Whenever the country’s history is written, the history of Modi period would be written in golden letters because of the steps taken by him for people’s welfare’.
Swami Vivekanand, whose birth name was also Narendra, had predicted that India would become Vishwa Guru in the 21st century, and it is coming true under Narendra Modi’s leadership, Amit Shah said.
Swami Vivekananda born Narendranath Datta, was an Indian Hindu monk, a chief disciple of the 19th-century Indian Ramakrishna. He was a key figure in the introduction of the Indian philosophies of Vedanta and Yoga to the Western world and is credited with raising interfaith awareness, bringing Hinduism to the status of a major world religion during the late 19th century.
He was a major force in the revival of Hinduism in India, and contributed to the concept of nationalism in colonial India. Vivekananda founded the Ramakrishna Math and the Ramakrishna Mission. He is perhaps best known for his speech which began, ‘Sisters and brothers of America,’ in which he introduced Hinduism at the Parliament of the World’s Religions in Chicago in 1893.
Amit Shah said that he met Narendra Modi for the first time in 1982 and he is someone who always thinks of welfare of the country and its people.
On the 26th May 2014 Narendra Modi took oath as the Prime Minister of India. He made his mark on both the Indian and global stage as the chief minister of the western state of Gujarat for a record four terms. There, he brought about a paradigm shift in people’s lives by delivering pro-citizen good governance, where the state served its people humbly and honestly.
Narendra Modi transformed Gujarat, which was reeling from the after effects of a devastating earthquake, into a growth engine that made a strong contribution to India’s development.
Always leading from the front and working towards all round development, Modi built layers of infrastructure across the state, just as he restructured and simplified the bureaucracy of government to make it work efficiently, honestly and humanely. Under his leadership the Gujarat government won over 300 awards at the domestic and international level including those from bodies such as the UN.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a people’s leader, dedicated to improving their well-being. Nothing is more pleasing to Modi than being among ordinary people, sharing their joys and alleviating their sorrows. His powerful, personal connect on the ground is complemented by a strong presence online where he is known as India’s most techno-savvy leader, using the web to reach people and bring about change in their lives.
Union minister Harsh Vardhan addressing the Delhi BJP’s ‘Sab ka Sath Sab ka Vikas’ programme in June 2017, claimed that the country is on the path of becoming a ‘Vishwa Guru’ while highlighting the achievements of the Modi government at the Centre in the last three years and said under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the country’s development in all sectors is on the fast lane and the government is sincerely committed to uplift the poor.
‘The Modi government is taking India on a path of the development and the country will soon be a Vishwa Guru,’ Harsh Vardhan said.
India was always a Vishwa Guru. Before any conquests, India was the sole superpower and a Vishwa Guru.
India had everything: abundance of natural resources, efficient military system in different kingdoms, well-developed cities, most beautiful landscape, heavenly climate, very knowledgeable saints, philosophers and teachers and on the top of it, very good people, followers of Dharma. We led the world for so many centuries.
However, we haven’t been totally destroyed. We are still culturally, militarily very strong. India can again become a Vishwa Guru, but it will take a few decades, provided we work consistently and sincerely towards our goal of becoming totally developed.
Dynamic, dedicated and determined, Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrives as a ray of hope in the lives of a billion Indians. His laser focus on development and his proven ability to deliver results have made him one of India’s most popular leaders. His promise is to build a nation that is strong, prosperous and inclusive, where each and every Indian can realize their hopes and aspirations.
