BJP President successfully addressed Karnataka people. Shah received an overwhelming and welcoming response when he questioned, “Does every household have electricity? Are women free? Do you all have bank accounts?” If not then, why Siddaramaiah wears a watch worth Rs. 40 lakhs. He also pointed out that, if Congress is very concerned about Lingayat community, then why didn’t they approve it during their government in the center.
BJP is keeping a firm focus on Mysore. It is a hometown of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. BJP President Amit Shah made intermittent visits to Mysore. From Friday, Shah will be making a two-day visit to the city. For today, Amit Shah’s first port of call is Suttur Mutt. Here, Shah will be interacting with Royal family of Mysore. After this, he will pay a visit to Late Sri Raju’s Home. A lunch with Dalit leaders is scheduled in Amit Shah’s Mysore visit. He will also make visits to Ganapati Satchidananda Ashram and Nanjanagudu Srikanteshwara Temple.
The race is not just amidst BJP and Congress. Other old parties such as Janata Dal and AIMIM (All India Majlis-e-ittehadul Muslimeen) are also in the row. AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has not confirmed this decision over an alliance.
Just 45 days are left in the final poll battle and parties are on the peak in the battle of unnerving each other. In fact, CM Siddaramaiah will make a five-day excursion to Mysore. Coming from a backward class, Siddaramaiah is playing son-of-the-soil game. He has been making constant visits to temples and mutts to carve an image of “leader for lower caste”.
Recently, an Amit Shah tour to Shivamogga (Shimoga), saw a prosperous response from the public. Seems like people are really hoping for “Acche Din”, in the state of Karnataka.
India today is a dynamic and fast growing nation. For millennia, it has been the land that has nourished both mind and body. Its philosophy that stems from a prehistoric oral tradition has carried on through the ages, influencing and creating leaders that have changed the course of the world. India has over the ages, withstood, multiple attacks on its very idea of plurality and continues to fight foreign ideologies. The new online information tsunami also brings in disinformation, and it’s here that India Aware steps in and promises to seek out balanced and unbiased facts, and bring to you information without blindingly trying to discredit anything that stems from our glorious past.
