The State had given them 73 MPs in the Last general Election, held on 2014, and the rest is history. The next general election is schedule to be held next year, so now on wards keeping Uttar Pradesh in mind the BJP and team Modi started to chalk out the blue print for the coming Lok Sabha election.
The saffron party is in power of the state and is led by Yogi Adityanath. Now to fulfil the people of the state’s desire and dream, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today launch 81 projects worth Rs.60,000 crore in Lucknow. These projects were part of the 1,045 MoUs signed at the Uttar Pradesh Investors’ Summit organised earlier this year.
The government has estimated to create about 2.1 lakh jobs in the states through these projects. The Honourable Governor of the State Ram Naik, Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath including business tycoons like Gautam Adani and Kumar Mangalam Birla also attended the event.

Speaking at the event, PM Modi said that it is not only a ground-breaking event, but also a record breaking one.
“People are calling this event a ground-breaking ceremony. But I call this a record breaking ceremony. The manner in which developments works have been carried out in such a short span of time, and old methods have been changed, was never seen before in Uttar Pradesh,” the Prime Minister said. Pushing for digital transactions, PM Modi also said that these projects would prove to be a big step in giving a new direction to Digital India and Make in India.
The UP Investors Summit, which was organised in February 2018, has generated investment intent worth more than Rs.4.28 lakh crore across sector like renewable energy, infrastructure, power, IT and electronic manufacturing, and tourism. Within a few months, investment proposals for 81 projects amounting to an investment of about Rs 60,000 crore have now materialised.
