Russian president Vladimir Putin on Friday said the ties between India- Russia are unparalleled.
Putin was speaking at the Hyderabad house and presenting joint statement with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Friday.
He said, “It is my great pleasure to once again invite Prime Minister Narendra Modi to participate in the next Vladivostok Forum as the main guest.” Putin is in India for two days visit which will end on Friday. The two countries have signed a 5 billion dollar deal under which India will purchase five S-400 missile systems from Russia. The systems are expected to be delivered by 2020.

Besides this, the two counties have signed deals strengthening co-operation in space exploration under which an India monitoring station will be built near the Russian city of Novosibirsk in Siberia.
Speaking during the joint statement, Modi said Russia has always been part of India’s growth story and India gives priority to its relations with Russia.
Modi thanked Putin for helping work on Gangayan, a dream project to send a human in outer space. Whether be it human resource development or harnessing natural resources, trade and investment potential, the cope for Indo-Russia ties to expand is immens,” Modi said.
Calling the friendship between India and Russia unique Modi said, “With President Putin’s help, this friendship will strenghten further.”
He added that it is in the interest of the two countries to work closely on eradication terrorism, security threats in Afghanistan and the Indo-US specific region.
The main key pact which the two countries signed is S-400 land to space advanced long range missile. This pact dodged US prohibition to buy Russian ammunition. Now expert saying, it is new axis which India formed to bypass US. And now Cremlin will try to keep distance from Pakistan.
