After grabbing the eyeballs with its entertaining trailer and songs, director Rohit Shetty’s cop drama ‘Simmba’ won cinegoers heart, as it hit the screen this Friday. From dance to powerful action quotient and a good mix of comedy fascinate the audience.
Like many other Shetty’s film, Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan starrer ‘Simmba’ too was blessed with a good start.
The film has got rave reviews from the audiences. ‘Simmba’ was released in Dubai a day before in India.
Most of the audiences are impressed with Ranveer’s performance and gave a big thumbs up to Shetty’s latest release, as a lot of UAE audience has already watched the film since it was released earlier in UAE.
After a devastating opening weekend of Anand L Rai’s venture ‘Zero’, much was expected from ‘Simmba’, as this one is the last big release of 2018. Thankfully, it doesn’t disappoint.
The trailer had also received a great response from movie-buffs and since then the much-needed hype was created around the film. But looking at the audience response, it looks like the movie is living up to their expectations.
It is a full masala entertainer with some catchy dialogues, proper punch lines and yes, good action sequences is a worth to mention.
While Ranveer caught our attention as Sangram Bhalerao aka Simmba, B-Town’s new eye-candy Sara also grabbed our eyeballs in Shagun’s character. After her debut in ‘Kedarnath’ in first week of December, she has again impressed her fans with her performance in ‘Simmba’. Well, we can say 2018 December starts and ends with Sara-magic.
Sonu Sood as the negative lead manages to lend a nefarious tinge.
Actor Ajay Devgan and Akshay Kumar’s cameo add a punch to the last part of the movie, especially reminding everyone of the distinct style of action showcased in ‘Singham’.
According to the Box Office India reports, ‘Simmba’ was blessed with an opening around 35 percent, which is a bit better than SRK’s ‘Zero’.
