Rafale deal took a new high when Arun Jaitley and Congress scion Rahul Gandhi attacked each other through a heated debate.
Earlier Wednesday Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in his blog threw 15 questions to Congress and expects the Congress party and Rahul Gandhi to respond immediately.
In his blog Jaitley attacked that false campaign based on peddled untruth about India’s Rafale deal with France. He raised 15 questions; and said there are three principal arguments of the campaign launched by the Congress and Rahul Gandhi.

Those three principal are:
- The NDA government paid higher price than what UPA would have paid if the deal would have come across on the basis of the 2007 offer of Dassault.
- Proper procedure such as negotiations by the Contract Negotiation Committee and approval of the Cabinet Committee of Secuirity (CCS) were not obtained.
- A private industrialist in India was favoured and the interest of public sector undertaking was compromised.
Arun Jaitley claims each one of the issues raised is based on complete falsehood.
Mr Jaitley, thanks for bringing the nation’s attention back to the GREAT #RAFALE ROBBERY! How about a Joint Parliamentary Committee to sort it out? Problem is, your Supreme Leader is protecting his friend, so this may be inconvenient. Do check & revert in 24 hrs. We’re waiting!

Just after Jaitley posted this in his blog Congress President Rahul Gandhu suggested that a Joint Parliamentary Committee be set up and called the Rafale deal a great robbery. Beside this Rahul slammed Narendra Modi and added that the supreme Leader is protecting his friend, so this may cause inconvenience.
Every fact that Congress has said on pricing is false. Mr. Rahul Gandhi himself has given seven different prices in different speeches regarding the Rafale aircraft. It shows how little understanding he has. How much does he know and when will he know? : FM Shri @arunjaitley pic.twitter.com/1agdOrcSYm

After Rahul’s tweet Jaitley promptly tweeted and said, “When no answers are given, obviously non could have been given by those who resort only to falsehood.” BJP national president Amit Shah also attacked Rahul and said, “JPC-Jhooti Party Congress. Congress is a party that fools the nation with its lies. The party is quoting varied price of Rafale in different cities.
