Before scheduling of assembly election in Telangana, Congress faced a major setback when its senior party leader and former speaker of state assembly announced to join TRS.
State Minister KT Rama Rao, son of TRS president and caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and other TRS leader met Suresh Reddy in Hyderabad and invited him to join the Telangana Rashtriya Samity.
Suresh Reddy asserted that he joined TRS to be involved in the state’s growth process.
There will be trouble for state and its people if the driver of a car who is driving well and with speed is changed midway, he added.
The veteran politician also asserted that he will work as mediator between people and government.
He said, “I came to the decision when the minister told me to contribute towards scope of improvement in implementation of government schemes.”
When YS Rajsekhar Reddy was the Chief Minister of united Andhra Pradesh, from 2004-2009, Suresh Reddy was the speaker of the assembly. He is from Nizamabad.
Suresh Reddy was three time elected MLA of united Andhra Assembly. Earlier this week TRS cabinet decided to dissolve assembly for facing assembly election before next year General Election.
Expert opined that some days before KCR praised Narendra Modi-led central government. The state is forerunner of getting special status from central government. That is why might be an understanding between TRS and BJP, KCR decided to dissolve assembly and heading for early election.
