Carolina Marin again beat PV Sindhu to be the World Champion. This is the third time since London Olympic-2016, when Sindhu was sailed away by Marin Wave in a World championship.

At the BWF World Championships in Nanjing, China, PV Sindhu had to settle for silver yet again after losing the final in straight games against Spanish shuttler and arch rival Carolina Marin. Marin, since time who has been Sindhu’s toughest rival in every international court, and hence it once again prevail over the Indian by 21-19, 21-10 score. And clinch the third world title.

The former no.2 shuttler had previously won the title in 2014 and 2015. She is now the first female player in history to hold three world titles.

The star Indian shuttler seemed out of sorts throughout the match although; she did manage to put up a good fight for some time in the first game. Marine however simply blew her opponent away in the second to win the match in just 45 minutes.

All through the tournament, Marin has looked in supreme form. Her confidence, her movement on court and her attacking strokes have been top notch. On the other hand, Sindhu had shown a lot more patience and variety in her strokes in this edition. Timely drop shots have been a major addition in Sindhu’s arsenal and that has helped her get past her opponents. Against Marin, she will need to bring all her variety to the court.

But 133 crore Indians are looking on Sindhu for Tokyo-2020 hope. Expert says, from now wards Sindhu will have to make out the strategy for beating Marin. If she does so, a gold from Tokyo is confirmed said an expert.

India today is a dynamic and fast growing nation. For millennia, it has been the land that has nourished both mind and body. Its philosophy that stems from a prehistoric oral tradition has carried on through the ages, influencing and creating leaders that have changed the course of the world. India has over the ages, withstood, multiple attacks on its very idea of plurality and continues to fight foreign ideologies. The new online information tsunami also brings in disinformation, and it’s here that India Aware steps in and promises to seek out balanced and unbiased facts, and bring to you information without blindingly trying to discredit anything that stems from our glorious past.
