On Friday, Yusuf Pathan declared his retirement from all forms of Cricket. Between 2007 and 2012, he played 57 ODIs and 22 T20Is in India. He was a member of the 2007 T20 World Cup and the 2011 ODI World Cup won by the Indian team.

“The withdrawal of all game forms is officially announced. I sincerely appreciate all your support and love for my family, friends, fans, team and the whole country. In the future, I am confident that you will continue to encourage me,” he said in a post on Friday.
During his career Pathan played in home cricket for Baroda. In the IPL, he had some highly successful seasons with Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals. He has played 174 matches in the IPL. He was the first to win the IPL trophies for cricketing.
Yusuf Pathan is still the second fastest in the history of this tournament and the fastest among the Indians in the IPL 2010 season against Mumbai Indians. He played last for the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian T20 in 2019, but was released before the 2020 season.
In the forthcoming Road Safety World Series, Yusuf Pathan will be seen with Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh, Zaheer Khan, Ajit Agarkar, Virender Sehwag and Yuvraj Singh play together with former Indian teammates.
