No-confidence motion moved against Imran Khan in Pakistani Parliament

In Pakistan, Leader of the Opposition Shahbaz Sharif has increased pressure on Prime Minister Imran Khan by moving a no-confidence motion against him in the National Assembly yesterday. It was introduced after 161 members of the National Assembly voted in favor of bringing the bill.

National Assembly Deputy Speaker Qasim Khan Suri announced that the debate on the motion would begin on March 31. The opposition needs at least 172 votes of MPs to pass the no-confidence motion.

The Balochistan Awami Party has already come into the opposition, which has increased the trouble of Imran Khan. The opposition has the support of 163 members and now needs only nine more votes.
