Situation normal in UAE, reports of Burj Khalifa attack false – passengers returning from Abu Dhabi reveal the truth

Passengers on Etihad Airways flight EY-262, which arrived in Bengaluru from Abu Dhabi amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, said the situation in the UAE remains normal for now. After landing at Kempegowda International Airport, passengers said the situation in the UAE is relatively stable compared to Kuwait and Bahrain, and day-to-day activities are continuing as normal.

A traveler dismissed reports circulating on social media and Indian media claiming attacks on major Dubai landmarks as completely false. He clarified that reports of an attack or major damage to the Burj Khalifa are completely false and people should not believe such rumors.

Travelers urged people to rely only on official updates from the Dubai and Abu Dhabi governments. Tindu, a traveler from Abu Dhabi, said that while there are some concerns, the government is being supportive and all operations, including healthcare, are operating normally.

However, travelers also expressed concern that if the conflict continues, it could impact the millions of Indian workers working in the UAE. At present, there is no reason to panic and the situation is under control.
