Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa has won the confidence motion in the Assembly by proving his majority today. Speaker K R Ramesh Kumar declared that the Motion of Confidence moved by the Chief Minister has been passed by a voice vote.
Following this, the Appropriation Bill and Supplementary estimates were passed in the House by the Speaker.
As the speaker moved the trust vote, the newly sworn- in chief minister said that he promised to not to indulge in vindictive politics

Earlier, with the Congress-led coalition government’s failure to prove the floor test, Yediyurappa met the Governor to form the Government. He was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Karnataka and was given seven days to prove his majority. He took over as CM for the fourth time in Karnataka.
