Prime Minister Narendra Modi has pitched to be used of technology-driven solutions for workers to urge jobs near their homes, as also employers to seek out skilled workforce with the press of a button.
Interacting with bureaucrats and experts, he also suggested that industrial training institutes can modify their courses to coach youth in jobs supported upcoming industrial projects being planned during a particular region.
This, he said, can ensure new jobs for youth for subsequent eight to 10 years.
The interaction happened on Tuesday and its video was shared by the Niti Aayog on Wednesday.
Modi said people, especially those involved in ‘blue collared’ jobs, would like to urge employment near their homes.
He suggested that AI are often used help employers meet skilled workforce.
The prime minister stressed that companies also can be rated on the idea of the facilities they extend for the workers , including education for his or her children.
Aspirations of workers need to be kept in mind and that they should be asked what they need to try to to in future, he said.
Modi said a fitter might want to find out driving in order that he can purchase a taxi to reinforce his earnings.
He also mentioned a “mismatch”, saying while on the one hand people required for a specific job aren’t available, and on the opposite people that have the potential aren’t getting the specified opportunities.
The prime minister said if a study is administered, most of the workers would desire better education for his or her children. He said many have taken loans to supply good education to their children.
He also suggested “global mapping of manpower”, saying several countries need good science and maths teachers also as nurses.
