We will have to more cautious during shooting amid COVID times: Vidya Balan

Actor Vidya Balan, who is probably going to resume shoot of her upcoming film “Sherni” in October, says shooting amid the coronavirus pandemic are going to be a challenge and she or he is up for it.

Production on “Sherni”, helmed by “Newton” director Amit Masurkar, came to a halt in mid-March because the country went into lockdown to curb the spread of coronavirus.

Balan, who is about to play a forest officer within the film, said the perfect situation are going to be to resume shoot post monsoon and therefore the team is hoping to travel on floors in October within the jungles of Madhya Pradesh.

“The situation is such we’ll need to take at some point at a time. Shooting generally would require you to be that far more cautious now. the great thing is we’ll be shooting within the jungle. We aren’t in an indoor place which i feel may be a good thing. Hopefully, we’ll be safer. Fingers crossed,” the “Shakuntala Devi” star told PTI.
Balan, 41, said people will need to exercise caution as they resume work and other normal activities.

“We can only take precautions and hope everything seems fine and everybody is safe. i do not know what it’ll be shooting outside the town ,” she said, adding that two-thirds of the shoot is yet to be finished.
