India’s coronavirus tally on Monday crosses 71-lakh mark with a spike of 66,732 new cases and 816 deaths reported in the last 24 hours, according to the Union Health Ministry.
The total case tally stands at 71,20,539 including 8,61,853 active cases, 61,49,536 cured/discharged/migrated cases and 1,09,150 deaths.
On Sunday, India’s coronavirus tally crossed the 70-lakh mark with a spike of 74,383 new cases and 918 deaths reported in the last 24 hours.
On Saturday, India reported a spike of 73,272 new Covid-19 cases and 926 deaths, according to the Union Health Ministry.
India’s COVID-19 tally had crossed the 20-lakh mark on August 7, 30 lakh on August 23 and 40 lakh on September 5. It went past 50 lakh on September 16 and crossed 60 lakh on September 28.
