To say that Milind Soman and Ankita Konwar are couple goals is probably an understatement. The two go on scenic trips, practice healthy lifestyle choices and even promote various causes. The actor and supermodel often talks about practising an environmental-friendly lifestyle, and his recent post also stresses on the same.

Recently, Milind along with his wife Ankita and mother Usha Soman went on a small trek to a Shiva temple. The actor said that to make the journey fun, he decided to pick up as much garbage as he could. He decided to throw it in the dustbins at the temple.

However, after reaching the temple, he found out that they did not have dustbins because of monkey menace and instead burned the waste in the forest. After learning this fact, the actor was shocked and urged people to be smarter than monkeys and food companies to make bio-degradable packaging.

“Small trek to a Shiva temple at the top of a hill today with @ankita_earthy and @somanusha To make it more fun and to show my respect to the deity, I picked up as much garbage as I could along the holy trail. Strangely, at the temple I was told by the caretaker that there were no dustbins because of monkeys throwing the garbage out of the bins, and all garbage would be burnt in the forest. Point no.1 – I really think the time has come for us to be smarter than monkeys. Point no. 2 – Food companies really need to start using bio degradable packaging so that more people can eat more junk, guiltfree (sic),” Milind captioned his post.

Milind Soman is a celebrated supermodel and actor. He shot to fame after his appearance in Alisha Chinai’s hit 1995 song Made In India.
