Actor Ajay Devgn’s Maidaan is set to release in theatres in Dussehra on October 15, 2021.
Based on a true story of football coach, Syed Abdul Rahim in 1950 to his death in 1963.
“‘Maidaan’ now releases worldwide in theatres on Dussehra 2021. Shoot commences January 2021.
#Maidaan2021,” Devgn tweeted along with a poster featuring him and others in a retro look.
Though filming will resume in January 2021, parts of the film have already been filmed across Lucknow, Kolkata and Mumbai. The unit had to commence the final schedule as all the filming action had to be suspended due to Covid-19.
The film’s primary filming has already been finished by 65 per cent and the last schedule is scheduled to finish by April 2021.k.
