The Jammu and Kashmir Government invited well-known film director Imtiaz Ali to promote local art and culture by providing the requisite platforms for local artists and youth through workshops and related events.

The director of Bollywood, who has the experience of filming in J&K, has shown a great deal of enthusiasm in producing films casting local actors using local styles, songs, fashion and local.

In his conversation with journalists, Ali said that he was in awe of the music, creativity and creativity found among J&K artists. He said that the richness of culture is so strong here that many measures will be needed to expose it to the full.

The event was also attended by Sarmad Hafeez, Secretary of Culture and Tourism, and Director of Archaeology and Museums, Munir-ul-Islam.

Ali has said that he is back to do a work that is solely native to local talent, musicians, music and musical instruments. He suggested that the huge pool of talent found in J&K is diverse and spans all spheres of cinematic criteria, such that nothing can take us here from the beginning to the climax of the film.

Ali also said that he was completely persuaded that the ancient western folklore had too many tales that could be translated into the best cinematic presentations. He said the attempts made earlier were not enough, so taking more themes to the fore would be the main priority.

The director of Bollywood said that young people would come out and make their talents known to the world.
