West Bengal: Bombs hurled at BJP workers, 6 injured

Six BJP workers have suffered grievous injuries after some miscreants hurled crude bombs at them in Bengal’s South 24 Parganas district. Two of them are in a critical condition.

On Friday night, miscreants threw crude bombs at the group while they were returning from a wedding. The injured have been rushed to the Canning Subdivision Hospital for further treatment.

The Injured BJP workers have claimed that Trinamool Congress workers were behind the bomb attack on them.

On Friday evening, when they came back from a marriage, the misdeed hurled crude explosives at the party. The wounded were sent for further care to Canning Division Hospital.

The injured BJP workers alleged to have been behind the bomb attacks of the Trinamool Congressional workers. They said that on their way back out from the wedding the misbelievers threw explosives at them. Police began an inquiry into the incident. At Canning Subdivision Hospital, he wounded are currently receiving care.

Shovan Debnath, Vikram Shil, Arpan Debnath, Swapan Kurali, Mahadev Naik and others were among the wounded.

Jayant Naskar, Trinamool Congressional candidate on Gosaba’s assembly seat, alleged that six people had been severely injured in attempting to plant a bomb in coordination with some miscreants by BJP leader Varun Pramaik.
