Andhra Pradesh Municipal Election 2021 Result: Counting begins for 12 corporations

The battle between the ruling YSRCP, Chandrababu Naidu’s Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has begun with the counting of votes for the 2021 Andhra Pradesh Municipal Election started on Sunday morning. The 2021 Andhra Pradesh Municipal Election was a triangular battle between the ruling YSRCP, Chandrababu Naidu’s Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). In the Andhra Pradesh Municipal Election of 2021, 12 municipal corporations went to the polls earlier this month. Twelve municipal corporations include Greater Visakhapatnam, Guntur and Vijayawada.

Andhra Pradesh Municipal Election 2021 The result is similar to the panchayat polls in which the ruling YSRCP won the bulk of the panchayats.

Live Updates: At 9 a.m. counting of votes for the Andhra Pradesh Municipal Election of 12 Municipal Corporations, 71 Municipalities and Nagara Panchayats began Sunday morning throughout the state. The count began at 8 a.m.

A total of 4,626 polling centers were set up for local elections and 3,289 for municipal elections, along with 7,552 for civic elections throughout the province. On March 10, more than 63% of the vote was registered in the Andhra Pradesh municipal elections.
