Indian team of 15 members announced for Cricket World Cup

BCCI has announced the 15-member Indian team for the Twenty20 Cricket World Cup. The Twenty-Twenty World Cup will be played in the United Arab Emirates and Oman this year.

The squad was announced by BCCI Honorary Secretary Jay Shah and Chief Selector Chetan Sharma after the selection committee meeting in Mumbai. Some new faces have been included in the Indian team under the leadership of Virat Kohli.

These include three fast bowlers Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami and five spin bowlers Ravichandran Ashwin, Axar Patel, Ravindra Jadeja, Rahul Chahar and Varun Chakraborty.
