Virat Kohli will step down as the captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore after the completion of IPL

Virat Kohli has announced to step down from the captaincy of Royal Challengers Bangalore after the current IPL tournament. However, he said that he will continue to be included in the Bangalore team. He had announced to step down as captain of the national 20-20 matches after next month’s World Cup.

He thanked the team manager, coach, other staff and players.

RCB said that Virat Kohli is a brilliant player and he has been a real asset to the team. He respected Kohli’s decision and thanked him for his valuable contribution.
