Five people were killed in a gunfight late last night in the city of Bnei Brak, on the outskirts of Tel Aviv in Israel. Firing took place at two places in the same city. After preliminary investigation, the police found that the assailant opened fire on the passersby before the authorities took action. No group has claimed responsibility for the firing.
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has condemned the attack. He said that the killing of Israeli or Palestinian civilians is to worsen the situation and create instability in the region, all of us will not allow this to happen. There is a new incident of terrorist shootings ahead of the holy month of Ramadan and the anniversary of the Gaza war last year.
India strongly condemns the terrorist attacks in Israel.
