Gujarat Titans IPL Became the first team to secure a place in the cricket play-offs. They beat Lucknow Super Giants by 62 runs in Pune last night. Batting first after winning the toss, Gujarat Titans scored 144 for four, Shubman Gill added 63 not out. Avesh Khan of Lucknow Super Giants took two wickets.
Chasing the target, the Lucknow team was reduced to only 82 runs in 13 overs and five balls for four wickets. Rashid Khan of Gujarat took four wickets.
Gujarat has reached the play-offs with 18 points from 12 matches. Lucknow Super Giants are second with 16 points and need just one win to reach the last four.
