Dharmendra Pradhan has said that the Central Government is continuously working for the welfare of the poor, women empowerment and welfare of all sections of the society.
Referring to the benefits received from the central schemes, Pradhan said that since 2014, 11 crore households have been made toilets and nine crore gas connections have been given across the country, while in Odisha, about 40 lakh farmers have been given the PM-Kisan Samman Yojana. Under this, about eight thousand crores have been transferred so far.
Pradhan said that Narendra Modi is such a leader who has remained popular among the people, whether he was the Chief Minister or the Prime Minister for 20 consecutive years. Pradhan said this while addressing a public meeting organized at Mahaanga in Cuttack district of Odisha to mark the completion of eight years of the government.
