Jihadi leadership desist from taking Muslim community to violent path: Alok Kumar

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad has given a strong reaction to the incidents of rioting, violence, attacks and arson by the mobs who came out of the mosques after the Friday prayers. Union Working President and Senior Advocate Mr. Alok Kumar has said today that the Jihadi Muslim leadership of the country is taking the common Muslims to the path of violence, which is neither in their interest nor of the country. Those who pollute the peaceful and harmonious environment of India have to understand that India is run by the Constitution and not by the Shariat. Those who are trying to become the puppets of the fundamentalists and become judges on the streets instead of the court itself, they will have to desist from it.

Alok Kumar said that attacks on innocent people, security forces, temples and public places in the name of demonstration are a challenge to the civilized society. The administration is taking action from place to place in the country, but the rioters will have to be dealt with more harshly. The process should be made simple and quick in this regard, not only should the property damage be compensated by the rioters. Also, the religious places from where this violent mob emanated, those places will also have to take responsibility.

The VHP working president also said that the police has already started the proceedings by registering an FIR in the matter regarding which efforts are being made to create an atmosphere of violence and hatred in the country. The Muslim community should renounce the path of violence and wait for the court’s decision by following the legal process. Otherwise, if people of other society start giving similar reaction, then it will neither be in the interest of them nor the country.
