Raids are being conducted at several locations in the National Capital Region against Delhi Minister Satyendar Jain and his associates. Raids are being conducted at at least 10 residential and commercial places. It is learned that raids are also being conducted on the premises of several promoters of a business group running a prominent school.
The agency has claimed that after the arrest of Jain, “unaccounted” cash and 133 gold coins worth Rs 2.85 crore have been seized in similar raids against his family and others. In April, as part of the probe, assets worth Rs 4.81 crore of Jain’s family and companies “owned and controlled by them” were attached.
Arvind Kejriwal called Jain a “very honest patriot”, saying he was “being implicated in a false case”.
