After the Center gave ‘Y+’ security to the rebel MLAs of Shivsena in Maharashtra, the party on Monday claimed that it is now clear that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is the only party in the state amid the ongoing political turmoil. All this is doing ‘tamasha’. In an editorial in Shiv Sena mouthpiece ‘Saamana’, the rebel MLAs of the Eknath Shinde-led party have been accused of being ‘sold’ for Rs 50 crore each.

He had told that the MLAs who have been provided security include Ramesh Bornare, Mangesh Kudalkar, Sanjay Shirsat, Latabai Sonawane, Prakash Surve and 10 other MLAs. Officials had said that their families living in Maharashtra would also be provided security.

It has been asked in ‘Saamana’ whether the central government was afraid that they would return to their party after coming back to the state? , ‘It is now clear that the BJP leaders at the Center and in the state have written the script for these actors (rebel MLAs) and they are directing the entire tamasha.’
