Kuldeep Bishnoi joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday. Bishnoi’s wife and former MLA Renuka Bishnoi also joined the BJP.
On this occasion, Khattar while welcoming the Bishnoi couple to the BJP said that he was in constant touch with Kuldeep Bishnoi and supported the BJP in the Rajya Sabha elections.
He claimed that Bishnoi has joined the BJP without any conditions.
Bishnoi was already angry with the Congress party. Earlier this year, he had taken a rebellious stand after he was not appointed as the chief of the Haryana unit of the Congress.
After this, Congress removed Bishnoi from all party posts due to ‘cross voting’ in the Rajya Sabha elections held in June. Bishnoi (53), an MLA from Adampur seat in Haryana’s Hisar district, on Wednesday resigned from the assembly membership.
