NIA has arrested a member of Dawood gang from Mumbai. He was also involved in smuggling, terrorism, money-laundering, circulation of counterfeit currency and fundraising for terrorist activities of organizations like Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed and Al Qaeda.

Mohammad Iqbal Qureshi aka Salim is close to Fruit D-company. It has been instrumental in extorting money in property deals in the name of Chhota Shakeel and other activities of D-Company such as dispute settlement and fundraising for terrorists.

It is said that Salim is married to the sister of Chhota Shakeel’s wife. That’s why he is very close to Salim. Salim’s father used to sell fruits in the Nal Bazar area of ​​Mumbai. For this reason it was named Salim Fruit. Salim also did the business of exporting fruits.
