Bhagwant Mann was returning from Germany to Delhi on 17 September. It is being said that during this time he was taken down from the plane. He was drunk, so the airline took such a decision. According to the Lufthansa website, the plane was scheduled to leave Frankfurt at 1.40 pm on Saturday. It would have landed in Delhi at 12.55 pm, but after this uproar, the plane was delayed by 4 hours at 5.52 pm.
According to the rest of the passengers of the plane, CM Mann had drunk so much alcohol that he was not able to walk properly. His wife and security personnel were handling him. Because of this, Mann was taken down citing security.
His staff tried not to land him, but the flight staff did not want to take any risk. Another passenger says that due to this whole incident, the flight was delayed by four hours. CM Bhagwant Mann is being criticized for this on social media.
