Women’s movement widened in protest against hijab law

In Iran, women there are protesting by burning hijab over the custodial death of a woman protesting the hijab law. These demonstrations have been going on for five consecutive nights and have spread to many cities and towns. According to reports, the demonstrations took place in western Iran on Saturday during the funeral of a young woman. The young woman died after being in a coma in the hospital for three days.

In a video being shown on social media, people are raising anti-government slogans by gathering at the ancestral place of the deceased girl, Saqeez. The young woman was arrested last week in Tehran for violating the hijab law. Shortly after being placed in custody, the girl went into a coma.
Iranian authorities have started an investigation to determine the cause of death.

In Iran, it is mandatory for any woman, regardless of religion, Iranian or foreigner, even a traveller, to wear a hijab and to cover her head and neck, and to wear loose clothing that covers her arms and legs. has given.

But Mehsa’s family says something else – that she was completely healthy and had no heart disease.
