India’s first private rocket Vikram suborbital was successfully test fired from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. It was released at 11.30 am. This 83 kg rocket reached a height of 81.5 km with three payloads. After taking off from Sriharikota, the rocket splashed down safely in the Bay of Bengal, about 115 km away.
