Raghav Chadha’s name also came up in Delhi’s liquor scam

Aam Aadmi Party’s difficulties are increasing in Delhi’s liquor scam. After Manish Sisodia and Arvind Kejriwal, now the name of AAP’s Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha has also appeared in it. Chadha is mentioned in the ED’s supplementary charge sheet. However, the AAP MP denied it and termed it as propaganda.

Chadha says he has not been named as an accused or suspect in any of the ED’s complaints. There is no allegation against them. His name is mentioned for attending a meeting, but the basis of this is not clear. He has said that the news coming in this regard is factually incorrect and part of malicious propaganda against him.

According to media reports, the Enforcement Directorate has stated in the supplementary charge sheet filed in the court that Manish Sisodia’s PAC Arvind had taken the name of Raghav Chadha. In his statement, C Arvind has claimed that there was a meeting at Manish Sisodia’s house. Raghav Chadha, ACS Finance, Government of Punjab, Excise Commissioner Varun Roojam, FCT and officers of Punjab Excise were also present in the meeting.
