This is about 38 percent higher than the current price of $3,247 per ounce. This is the third time Goldman Sachs has increased the target for gold for the end of 2025. Earlier, they had increased the gold price target to $3,300 per ounce. However, under normal circumstances, gold prices could reach $3,700 per ounce by the end of 2025.

As the US-China trade war escalates, concerns about the US economy have increased, which has increased the demand for gold to protect against recession. Gold prices rose 6.5 percent last week, which is the best weekly performance since Covid-19.
