Three Maoists were killed in an encounter with security forces in Bihar’s Gaya district on Sunday, officials said. The encounter happened around midnight within the Barachatti forest area of the district, that’s about 100 kms from the capital here. The Maoists were killed within the early hours. Three bodies of Naxals are recovered from the encounter spot that has zonal commander Alok Yadav, they said. An AK series assault gun and an INSAS rifle are recovered from the spot. An underground tunnel was discovered barely three days after Jaish-e-Mohammad militants were killed in fierce encounter with the Nagrota’s Police in Jammu and Kashmir. Two terrorists connected to Militant group, Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) outfit were arrested in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said on Saturday. Both the terrorists have been residents of Wagad Tral and Chatlam Pampore, a police official said. They were caught by the J&K police from the Awantipora area of the south Kashmir district, he said. The official said as per investigation, they were providing logistic assistance and shelter besides transporting arms and ammunition of the militants in Pampore and Tral areas of the district.
