India’s coronavirus tally crossed 85 lakh on Sunday as the country detected 45,674 more coronavirus patients in a span of 24 hours. With the new set of coronavirus infections in India, the country’s tally has now climbed to 85,07,754, according to the health ministry. India also reported 559 deaths due to coronavirus, pushing the toll to 1,26,121. India currently has 5,12,665 active cases after a decrease of 3,967 in last 24 hours. On Sunday morning, the cured cases stood at 78,68,968 with 49,082 new discharges in a day.

India sent its first space mission in almost a year with a launch of EOS-01, an earth observation satellite, this afternoon. EOS-01, along with nine satellites from foreign countries, was launched by a PSLV rocket twelve minutes past three.
