Tamil Nadu reported at least 1,515 new positive COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours, taking the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 48,019, state’s Health Department said on Tuesday (16 June). The state also reported 49 casualties among COVID-19 patients, which increased state’s death toll to 528.
