Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan, who is at the forefront of India’s battle against coronavirus (Covid-19), is set to take charge as the chairman of the WHO Executive Board on May 22, officials said on Tuesday. A new map created by Nepal shows parts of India included into the Nepal territory triggering border dispute with India. The map shows Lipulekh, Kalapani and Limpiyadhura under its territory. The move announced by Foreign Minister Pradeep Kumar Gyawali came weeks after he said efforts were on to resolve the border issue with India through diplomatic initiatives. With over 11,200 coronavirus cases in Tamil Nadu, Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami announced to reopen salons only in the rural areas from May 19.
