Abdullah died on Monday at city-based Lilavati Hospital, the insider added. Reportedly, the cause of death is lung infection. Delhi Lt. Governor Anil Baijal on Wednesday advised officials to deploy firefighters to disinfect vulnerable neighbourhoods, especially the hot spots, quarantine centres, among others to check the spread of novel coronavirus. A large religious gathering in New Delhi has sparked a manhunt across India for suspected coronavirus cases after being linked to dozens of infections and several deaths. So far 1,203 Tabligh Jamaat workers. who were part of a global religious congregation, Nizammudin Markaz, in New Delhi, have been screened, after Telangana reported Covid-19 infection among workers who returned to the State on March 21, the Ministry of Home Affairs stated on Tuesday. As part of COVID-19 preparedness, it has been decided by Indian Railways that it would be prepared to modify 20000 coaches into quarantine/ isolation coaches to augment the quarantine facilities being created in the country. In this connection consultations were held with Armed Forces Medical Services, Medical Department of various Zonal Railways, and Ayushman Bharat, Ministry of Health, Government of India.
