Indian Railways has extended services of all its hospitals and dispensaries to all central government employees and their families in view of the spread of novel coronavirus, a Railway Board order said. A non-resident Keralite (NRK) under home quarantine here since he returned from Sharjah recently died on Sunday, officials said. According to health authorities, Abdul Khader (65), a resident of Kannariparamba, was kept under home quarantine after he returned from abroad on March 21. As cases of novel coronavirus (COVID19) rose by 179 since Friday, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) on Saturday said it is conducting community surveillance, rigorous contact tracing and has readied 4,387 dedicated COVID19 hospitals with required facilities to prepare the country to deal with more cases in coming days.
