In Chhattisgarh, two security personnel were martyred in a Maoist attack in Bastar district today evening. According to officials, a team of Chhattisgarh Armed Force was on a search operation in the Mardoom area. The Maoists triggered a powerful blast of Improvised Explosive Device- IED near Narayanpur border. After the blast, they opened indiscriminate fire on the security personnel. In this attack, two Jawans lost their lives. Additional forces have been rushed to the spot.

Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri on Saturday said so far nearly 12 lakh passengers coming from abroad have been screened for coronavirus at various airports across the country. Speaking at “Wings India 2020” an aviation related event being held here, the Union Minister said there would be a drop of 15 to 20 per cent in domestic air traffic for time being due to the virus concerns. A massive fire broke out at a plastic factory in outer Delhi’s Jahangirpuri area on Saturday, officials said. However, no injury has been reported so far, they said. According to fire officials, they received information regarding the blaze at the factory, situated at GT Karnal Road, around 12.10 pm.
