Railways has got a budgetary allocation of Rs 70,000 crore and the highest-ever outlay for capital expenditure amounting to Rs 1.61 lakh crore from Finance Minister NirmalaSitharaman in the Union Budget for 2020-21 presented on Saturday. The capital expenditure of Rs 1.61 crore is higher than revised estimate of 2019-20 by 2.99 per cent. National carrier Air India’s special flight operated to the Chinese city of Wuhan, the epicentre of the novel coronavirus outbreak, to evacuate Indians stranded there, landed at the IGI airport here on Saturday.
