BJP’s senior leader BS Yediyurappa took oath as the 25th CM of Karnataka. BS Yediyurappa becomes the chief minister for the fourth time.

The turn of events in the Karnataka cabinet happened with the coalition-led government, Congress+JDS led by Kumarswamy lost the trust vote in the assembly.

While the Kumaraswamy led party got only 99 votes to prove, BJP was leading by 105 votes which secured its place back.

Though BS Yediyurappa was sworn in alone by the Governor of Karnataka, the BJP leader was given seven days to prove his majority.
