Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has said that cooperation between India and the US will help restore normalcy and increase economic dynamism. He said that the corona pandemic has affected the supply and industrial activities have also come down. There has also been a negative impact on the tourism industry.
These views were expressed by Mr. Singh while addressing the India-US Economic Summit organized by the India-US Industry Chamber via video conference. He said that the economic and technological cooperation between India and the US has further strengthened in the post-Cold War period. It gained further momentum during the global war on terrorism. At present, the US-India strategic partnership has increased.
Rajnath Singh said that he is confident that other American companies also have huge opportunities to invest in defense manufacturing in New India. The Defense Minister said that this is the right time for trade cooperation between the two countries. In this, both the countries can move from buyer-seller relationship to positive and sustainable economic and trade cooperation, which will benefit both the countries.
