A sessions court on Friday refused to release on bail a 29-year-old tailor, facing the charge of allegedly raising the incendiary slogan “Sar tan se juda” from a crowd gathered during a protest in Indore. The protest was done after the controversy that broke out in the city during the release of Shah Rukh Khan starrer film “Pathan”.

A video of the accused Avesh has surfaced in which he is saying that he had talked about burning the city during the protest. I am ashamed for that. I will respect everyone, I will never act like this in future.

On January 25, the accused, who were caught by the police, gathered a crowd and blocked the Barwali post. At the same time, while addressing the crowd, there was talk of setting the city on fire, after which this video was rapidly circulated on the Internet media. On the basis of this video, the police officers took action and arrested these youths.
