Covid-19 cases shoots to 22.15 lakh with a single-day spike of 62,064 cases, 1,007 deaths

Coroavirus cases in India have continued to see a spike in the past few days, breaching a new mark every other day.

On Sunday, India registered its single-day and record spike of 64,399 coronavirus cases, taking the country’s Covid tally past 21 lakh-mark.

India had crossed the 20 lakh-mark on Friday. In just two days, India recorded a spike of over 1 lakh cases.

Experts have believed that India’s coronavirus peak is yet to come. As per World Health Organization data, India has been recorded more coronavirus cingle-day cases than the United States or Brazil for past four days
